Deep Green: One of the World’s Greenest Residence Halls

Berea College’s Deep Green Residence Hall was recently featured in Green Building and Design, touted as one of the greenest residence halls in the world.  The facility has achieved more LEED points than any other residence hall and is on target to receive Petal Certification from the Living Building Challenge – only the fifth project to do so.  Highlighting Berea’s commitment to sustainability and social justice, the article details sustainable strategies utilized and creative ways students were involved in the design and construction of the facility.  The full article is available here.
