H+C wins two awards in ENR Midwest Best Projects 2014

Two Hastings+Chivetta projects were awarded top honors in ENR Midwest’s Best Projects 2014.

• Berea College Deep Green Residence Hall in Berea, Kentucky was cited with an Award of Merit in the category of Green Project. The residence hall has achieved LEED Platinum certification and is seeking Petal Recognition under the Living Building Challenge version 2.0.
• GE Aviation EPISCENTER at the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio was awarded the Best Project  in the category of Higher Education/Research. The project is one of seven new Hubs of Innovation aimed at urban renewal and fostering economic partnerships between private industry and centers of knowledge.

The ENR Midwest awards are based on quality, innovation, safety and the ability of project teams to overcome unique challenges.
