Nebraska College of Tech Agriculture

Campus Master Plan

Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture (NCTA) possessed ample open space for the development of more sociable spaces but still faced the challenge of planning a campus environment that fostered a sense of collegiality and productivity.

The physical campus master plan was the result of a highly interactive process involving NCTA administration, faculty, staff, students, Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources representatives, and University of Nebraska system administrators.

First-phase activities featured the identification of mutual and specific issues as well as goals and objectives for the master plan. The second phase incorporated an inventory and analysis of existing physical facilities and utilization while the third-phase activities included the documentation of the selected physical campus master plan concept detailing timelines and costs for near and long-term improvements.
