Clayton Financial Center

Office Tower

To begin this project, Hastings+Chivetta analyzed the business district of downtown Clayton to determine the best site. After careful study, the firm chose a location for the development of four office towers with shared, central parking.

The first phase of the project was designed by Hastings+Chivetta. Originally built as Apex Oil’s company headquarters, it later became Smurfit-Stone Office Tower before the city of Clayton administrators named it Clayton Financial Center. It is situated on a prominent corner and has become a Clayton landmark.
