Bainbridge College

Student Wellness Center

Bainbridge College, a two-year public institution, is among the fastest-growing colleges in Georgia, with a 52 percent increase in enrollment since 2003. To meet the demands of the increasing student population on the main campus in Bainbridge, a new Student Wellness Center was constructed, designed by Hastings+Chivetta.

The new facility is sited adjacent to the original student center. Bainbridge’s satellite campus in Blakely also received an addition to their student center.

The Bainbridge Student Wellness Center blends with the college’s architectural style and environment by incorporating similar building materials. The design also facilitates future additions and modifications.

Components include a 3,400-seat gymnasium and convocation center, a cardio fitness and weights center, multipurpose rooms, locker rooms, a media center with a computer lab and reading room, a game room, a student lounge, a food court, offices and support spaces.
