UNCW Student Rec Center Featured as AB’s Facility of the Week

Athletic Business has selected the Hastings+Chivetta designed Student Recreation Center Renovation & Expansion at the University of North Carolina Wilmington as their Facility of the Week.

The University of North Carolina-Wilmington engaged Hastings+Chivetta, in collaboration with BMH Architects, to design an expansion and renovation of their 10-year-old. Student Recreation Center. Recreation components for the expanded and renovated facility include a gymnasium with a suspended track, multi-activity courts with retractable spectator bleachers, cardio/weight equipment areas, three racquetball courts, three multipurpose rooms and locker rooms.
