College Planning & Management Magazine taps Hastings+Chivetta for student housing expertise

An article in the June issue of College Planning & Management magazine provides recent survey results from 53 college and university housing administrators on the topic of current student housing needs and challenges. The magazine interviewed our team to offer perspectives on designing today’s residence halls. In the article, Tom explains what amenities students expect in collegiate housing. He also stresses the importance of providing building and housing unit efficiency while striking a balance between student/parent wants and institutional budgets. Photos of the Hastings+Chivetta-designed Deep Green Residence Hall at Berea College are also featured in the article.
