Hastings+Chivetta is pleased to welcome interns Paul Hennerich V and Antonio Amore Rojas to our team this summer!

Paul Hennerich V is spending his summer at Hastings+Chivetta as an Architectural Intern.  He is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Architecture as a rising Sophomore at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.  This summer, Paul is learning from our production and architectural graphics teams about 3D laser scanning, 3D modeling in Sketchup and other design programs, and more.  So far, he has enjoyed meeting many friendly coworkers and learning from their expertise.  Reflecting on his first weeks at H+C, Paul comments that the firm is well-managed and a good environment to gain experience in an industry that interests him.  Through his internship, Paul hopes to get a good feel for how the firm operates, and gain experience dealing with different situations in and outside of the realm of architecture.  Paul draws inspiration from his day-to-day life, his family and friends, and his interest in popular culture.  While he has big aspirations in the architecture and design industry, Paul also hopes to develop video games as a side hobby.  When he is not dedicating time to his work or studies, you can find Paul enjoying one of his many hobbies: sketching, writing, playing video games, working on video games, and playing trombone.

Antonio Amore Rojas has joined us this summer as a Marketing Intern and is assisting our marketing team with a variety of tasks, including research, writing, and social media.  In the fall, he will be a Junior at Santa Clara University, where he is double majoring in Management and Environmental Studies with a minor in French.  Though he has been at Hastings+Chivetta a short time, Antonio has already enjoyed getting to know the supportive and patient team members that have taken the time to show him the ropes as he settles into his summer responsibilities.  This summer, Antonio hopes to learn more about how companies actually operate compared to the theories he has learned in his business classes.  He also is looking forward to becoming more comfortable using Adobe InDesign, improving his research skills, and understanding the components of a marketing proposal.  The H+C team is pleased to have Antonio on board with his interest in sustainability and electric vehicles.  He is inspired by working toward a sustainable future where everyone has the ability to live a decent life.  A fun fact about Antonio is that he speaks four languages and has lived in four different countries.
