H+C Welcomes Austin Hurt and Julia Phillips

Hastings+Chivetta is proud to announce the addition of talented Junior Architectural Designers Julia Phillips and Austin Hurt. As part of the architectural graphics team, Austin and Julia develop high quality 2D drawings and 3D renderings for use throughout the design development process. Julia holds an Architectural Studies Bachelor’s Degree from University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master of Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis. Austin graduated from Iowa State University’s 5-year NAAB Accredited Architecture program. 

Outside of work, Julia volunteers for STL Arc and enjoys being outdoors, hoping to one day renovate a Volkswagen bus and go on a National Parks road trip. Austin has a wide variety of interests too: his current favorite hobby is LARP, but he also has history with hip-hop dance and competitive paintball.
