World-class STEM Teaching Facilities

Monday, October 28, 2013

Chris Chivetta is at the the Tradeline College and University Science Facilities Conference in Boston, this week.  This annual meeting brings science and engineering deans, facility planners, faculty and administrators together to share the state-of-the-art in STEM facilities planning, policies and trends.  Chris is joined by Centre College’s Stephanie Fabritius, PhD, VP for Academic Affairs, Dean of the College and Professor of Biology.  Chris and Stephanie are presenting on the characteristics of a successful stakeholder engagement process, and its effects on STEM project outcomes.  Based upon the highly-successful Young Hall Science Center at Centre College, designed by Hastings+Chivetta, Chris and Stephanie will outline strategies for building consensus among diverse stakeholder groups, and examine how their input is key to delivering collaborative STEM facilities.

If you are attending the conference, you can see Chris and Stephanie today at 1:15 pm, and tomorrow at 8:05 am.
